Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Telemetry Job Duration: 8 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (18:45 - 07:15) Guaranteed Hours: Information not provided Experience: Must have 2 years of experience in the specialty License: Compact or specific state license in hand upon submission Certifications:Required: BLS, NIH; Preferred: ACLS Must-Have: COVID-19 and Flu Vaccines (Medical/Religious Exemptions Only) Job Description: - Responsible for patient care in a telemetry unit with nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:5 for days and 1:6 for nights. - Floating to different units is required when necessary. - On-call duties are required as per the schedule. - Every other weekend coverage is mandatory. - The unit is open to first-time travelers. - Orientation consists of 8 hours. - Charge RNs are not needed. - Must be prepared for travel if living over 65 miles from the facility (address verification via driver's license). - Ensure NURSYS report is up to date (within 4 weeks of submission date). - Individuals who were previously employed as permanent staff or in-house agency contractors must have a year gap before returning as travel nurses. Please ensure all certifications are compliant with the American Heart Association standards. Candidates must have proper references from Managers/Supervisors to begin the contract.
