Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty: Telemetry Job Duration: 12 weeks Shift: Night Shift, 12 Hours Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum experience not specified; however, experience with medical-surgical patients is required. License: Required RN License Certifications: Telemetry interpretation, IV Insertion, PICC/Central Line Management Must-Have: Experience with BiPAPs, Chest tubes, or any Pulmonary/Respiratory experience. Must read and interpret telemetry. Job Description: - Responsible for the care of medical-surgical and telemetry patients. - Must have the ability to float to other units/locations as required. - Proficiency in managing PA lines, vascular device access/care. - Skilled in using CPAP/BiPAP, providing trach care, and operating traction and CPM devices. - Experience with epidural/PCA pumps, feeding tubes, and wound vac. - Orientation will include 110 hours. Note: Staff may be required to float within their scope when determined by leadership. Please confirm the RN is comfortable with this and has read the float pool guidelines before accepting the assignment.
