**Job Title:** Registered Nurse**Job Specialty:** Wound Care**Job Duration:** 10 months**Shift:** Day - 5x7.5 - 9:00 AM-5:00 PM**Guaranteed Hours:** 40 hours per week**Experience:** Minimum 2 years of med/surg experience; wound and colostomy experience required**License:** New York State RN License**Certifications:** AHA BLS; Wound Care Certification**Must-Have:** - Certified in home health- Excellent communication skills- Community outreach- Wound management**Job Description:**- Deliver wound care consults and treatment both in-office and in patients' homes.- 70% of the role is office-based; travel to patients' homes is necessary for complete care.- Ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare providers.- Conduct community outreach as needed.- Comply with all healthcare regulations and maintain patient confidentiality.- Perform comprehensive wound assessments and develop treatment plans.- Utilize wound care expertise to provide high-quality care and improve patient outcomes.- Support and educate patients and their families regarding wound care management.
