Source Medical Staffing is seeking a travel Occupational Therapist for a travel job in Farmington, Missouri. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Occupational Therapist Discipline: Therapy Start Date: 11/18/2024 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Occupational Therapist Shift is M-F 800-1630 with a 1 x a month Saturday rotation 800-1200. Weekend REQ: 1 x a month Saturday rotation 800-1200. Certifications required: BLS, State Licensed Documentation system: EPIC Avg Daily Census: 20 evals/treatments Guaranteed Hours: 40 hrs a week for 8x5s Special Requirements: Acute care exp required Adaptive equipment/Community re-entry/pre-discharge planning required Assessment/Discharge/Evaluation/Plan of care/reassessments required EPIC experience preferred Staffing: 2 OTs to cover the M/S, Tele, ICU (6 bed general). Less frequently ED for discharge recommendations and OP surgery. Experience in Acute care setting on med-surg, Telemetry and ICU. Skills: Ability to complete, document and synthesizes the results of the OT evaluation. OT with strong communication/collaboration with team and other disciplines. An occupational therapy practitioner maintains current licensure, registration, or certification as required by law or regulation for our state. Responsibilities: Triaging patients and organizing schedules for the day. Discharge planning meetings if needed. Complete evaluations and make discharge recommendations set on BJC criteria. Timely documentation.
