Job Requirements- BLS, State Licensed
- Acute care exp required
- Adaptive equipment/Community re-entry/pre-discharge planning required
- Assessment/Discharge/Evaluation/Plan of care/reassessments required
- EPIC experience preferred
- Experience in Acute care setting on med-surg, Telemetry and ICU
- Skills: Ability to complete, document and synthesize the results of the OT evaluation
- OT with strong communication/collaboration with team and other disciplines
- Responsibilities: Triaging patients and organizing schedules for the day
- Discharge planning meetings if needed
- Complete evaluations and make discharge recommendations set on BJC criteria
- Timely documentation
- Completion of education and competencies (SABA, CPR)
Schedule Information- Shift is M-F 800-1630 with a 1 x a month Saturday rotation 800-1200
Unit Specific Information- Staffing: 2 OTs to cover the M/S, Tele, ICU (6 bed general)
- Less frequently ED for discharge recommendations and OP surgery
