AlliedTravelCareers is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Occupational Therapist (OT) in Rushville, Illinois, 62681!About The PositionJob Title: Occupational TherapistJob Specialty: Rehabilitation Therapy - Occupational TherapyJob Duration: 13 weeksShift: DaysGuaranteed Hours: Not specifiedExperience: Minimum years of experience not specifiedLicense: IL State LicensureCertifications: Registered with American Occupational Therapy Association, Current BCLS certificationMust-Have: Graduate from an approved school of Occupational TherapyJob Description:- Responsible for evaluating, planning, directing, and administering occupational therapy treatments as prescribed by a licensed physician- Administer treatments and occupational agents to restore function and prevent disability following injury, disease, or physical disability- Assist patients in reaching their maximum performance and level of functioning while learning to live within their capabilities- Coordinate, delegate, and supervise responsibilities to supportive staff like OTAs and Patient Care Assistants- Participate in patient care scheduling and all aspects of patient care within the department- Monitor and report changes in patient condition or abnormal test results- Administer medications safely and timely, following all rights of medication administration- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care status, medication administration, and clinical care activities- Adhere to principles of good body mechanics when lifting and positioning patients- Comply with all hospital policies, regulatory standards, and infection control practices- Communicate effectively with patients, families, visitors, medical staff, and other departments- Attend staff meetings and contribute collaboratively to generate ideas and outcomes- Represent the organization in a positive and professional manner- Maintain ethical standards related to confidentiality, privacy regulations, and security measuresWork Environment:- Works in a well-lighted and ventilated office area, as well as patient care areas- Likely exposure to blood, body fluids, hazardous materials, radiation, and infectious diseases- Must be able to work beyond traditional hours, including weekends and holidays as neededPhysical / Emotional Demands:- Must be able to stand, sit, bend, walk, and lift intermittently during work hours- Subject to frequent interruptions- Able to cope with stressful and emotional situations- Must have good health and demonstrate emotional stabilityPosition Urgency: Normal9605263EXPPLATJob RequirementsRequired for Onboarding
