Overview:

Wellhart is seeking a Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician Assistant for a locum tenens position at a hospital in Ohio. This role involves a mix of OR and inpatient responsibilities.

Job Details:

• First-assist in surgeries (80-90% of work)

• Perform conduit harvesting using Maquet Vasoview Hemo Pro 2

• Manage inpatient rounding and consults (10-20% of work)

• Place arterial and venous lines

• Remove chest tubes, pacing wires, IABPs

Requirements:

• Active Ohio PA license

• Cardiothoracic surgery experience

• Comfort with OR first-assist role
