Job Requirements
Physical Therapist with competency with outpatient orthopedics.
Some subacute inpatient coverage as needed.
Diagnose and manage movement dysfunction to promote physical and functional abilities.
Restore, maintain, and promote optimal physical function, wellness and fitness, quality of life related to movement and health, and prevent impairments, functional limitations, and disabilities.
Complete discharge planning and provide gait training and recommendations for assistive devices as necessary.
Document patient care services in EMR with defensible documentation, complying with industry standards.
Maintain professional and technical knowledge by ongoing education and participation in professional societies.
Schedule Information
Days, 40 hours guaranteed per week.
Unit Specific Information
The outpatient physical therapy unit offers a variety of therapies and services tailored for each individual patient.
Staff members are expected to develop and carry out individualized treatment plans.
