Job Title: Diagnostic Radiology Technologist
Job Location: Iowa
Type of Facility: Critical Access Hospital
Length of Assignment: 13+ weeks with possibility of extension
Start Date: Immediately
Work Schedule: Five 8-hour shifts per week, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM or 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Perform various radiologic procedures including X-ray, CT, and MR (if applicable)
- Handle 10+ scans per shift in a busy radiology department
- Conduct imaging for ortho (neck to foot), neuro, trauma, and general inpatient requests
- Work with local PC referrals and participate in Neuro and Alzheimer's clinical case studies
- Collaborate with remote radiologists who read scans through PACS system
- Optional on-call rotation (every 4th day) with morning/afternoon off following evening call
Requirements:
- ARRT certification (Iowa license obtainable within 4 weeks)
- CT or MR experience (certification not required)
- BLS certification (ACLS and PALS to be provided during orientation)
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy radiology department
- Experience with Cerner EMR system preferred
