AlliedTravelCareers is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Rad Tech in North Adams, Massachusetts, 01247!About The Position**Job Title:** CT/X-Ray Technologist**Job Specialty:** Multi-Modality Radiology**Job Duration:** 13 weeks**Shift:** 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM**Guaranteed Hours:** 40 hours per week**Experience:** 2 years of current CT/X-Ray experience; Previous travel experience required (at least 6 months or more)**License:** Massachusetts**Certifications:** ARRT, BLS (AHA)**Must-Have:**- Previous travel experience with a staffing agency (at least 6 months to 1 year or more)- Own vehicle required for this assignment- Experience with Meditech Expanse is strongly preferred**Job Description:**- Perform a wide variety of technical procedures, requiring independent judgment and critical thinking.- Initiative to apply appropriate skills to facilitate a diagnosis.- May be assigned independent responsibilities by Lead Technologist, Administrative Director, Operations Manager, or Facility Director.- Proper care of the client in accordance with departmental and hospital policies and procedures.- May assume supervisory responsibilities or provide instruction to department personnel.- Excellent communication skills in written, verbal, and Tiger Text format required.- Practice infection control in clinical practice in compliance with departmental and hospital policies and OSHA standards.- Maintain patient confidentiality.- Demonstrate proper operation of PACS, HIS, and RIS computer systems.- Demonstrate ability to operate and troubleshoot CR, DR, CT, and PACS applications.- Complete annual mandatory education, including bloodborne pathogens, infection control, and body substance isolation.- Maintain department competencies as required.- Perform primary diagnostic Radiology and CT Scan tasks, including IV insertion and injections.- Willingness to work during the holiday season as required.- Participate in various duties on assignment during low census, within the scope of practice.**Additional Notes:**- Requests for schedule accommodations or block scheduling will not be considered.- Traveler must be willing to work prescribed shift and fulfill holiday coverage requirements.- Profiles must include at least two specific interview dates/times; generic availability like anytime will not be accepted.9543800EXPPLATJob RequirementsRequired for Onboarding
