**Job Title:** Radiologic Technologist**Job Specialty:** Radiographer**Job Duration:** 14 Weeks**Shift:** 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM, Monday to Friday, Alternating Weekends and Holidays**Guaranteed Hours:** 37.50 hours per week**Experience:** 1 year general radiographer experience required**License:** Valid license as a radiologic technologist issued by NYSDOH required**Certifications:** BLS preferred**Must-Have:** Proficiency in English (Speak, Read, Write)**Job Description:**- Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures to aid in patient diagnosis.- Ensure the safe and effective operation of radiographic equipment.- Collaborate with medical professionals to interpret imaging results.- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.- Provide patient care by explaining procedures and ensuring comfort during imaging.- Adhere to established protocols and safety standards.- Participate in continuing education and training to stay current with advancements in radiology.- Assist with scheduling and coordination of imaging services.- Work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly with staff and patients.- Adapt to varying shifts and work assignments as required.
