- Design, implement, and assess treatment plans.
- Work with other members of the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
- Administer medication to patients and assess their responses.
- Monitor psychiatric patients closely.
- Recommend and connect patients with various programs and services.
- Plans and manages patient care according to each patient's needs.
- Interviews patients and records their medical history and physical condition.
- Obtains patient vital signs, including pulse, blood pressure, temperature, and respiration.
- Reviews medical charts.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Completion of state approved training program (generally in the form of a diploma, certificate, or associate degree)
- TX RN license
- BLS certification
- 1-2 years recent nursing experience
Skills/Abilities: Good interpersonal and organizational skills. Ability to work with detailed, confidential material, computer experience required. Ability to follow directions and work with precision under pressure. Maintains sensitivity, maturity, and flexibility in coping with difficult situations.
