About The PositionJob Title: Respiratory TherapistJob Specialty: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)Job Duration: Full-Time and Part-Time positions availableShift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PMGuaranteed Hours: Information not providedExperience: New graduates welcome and willing to train; however, 2 years of acute care hospital experience required. Experience in a critical access hospital is preferred.License: Graduate from an approved/accredited Program of Respiratory Care with a current state License/Registration required.Certifications:- Basic Life Support (BLS)- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) or eligible for certification by the National Board of Respiratory Care- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification or must obtain within six months of hire- Participation in continuing education programMust-Have:- Ability to live within 30 minutes of the facility- Experience working with all age groups- Clinically independentJob Description:- The Respiratory Care Practitioner is a valuable member of the healthcare team who demonstrates knowledge, skill, and professionalism when interacting with peers and patients.- Provides age-appropriate care to a diversified patient population.- Demonstrates knowledge of hospital policies and procedures as well as the AARC standards of practice.- Equipment experience required: Ventilator (Drager Ventilators), Transport Vent (Zoll), Bipap (V60), High Flow Oxygen (Vapotherm), and ABG Gem.- Use of EMR system (Meditech).- On-call duties required 2-3 nights per week.- Weekend work required every other weekend from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.Some Employee Benefits:- Full-time medical benefits- Health savings care plan available- Dental and vision benefits- Life insurance (short and long-term disability)- Full and part-time positions qualify for a commencement bonus and a Student Loan Repayment program.- Relocation assistance available.Join our team and become an integral part of providing exceptional respiratory care!9578411EXPPLAT
