Job Title: Respiratory Therapist

Type of Facility: Hospital (Critical Care and General Floor)
Length of Assignment: 13 Weeks
Start Date: Late January
Work Schedule: 36-40 hours guaranteed, exact days unknown, shifts between 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Provide respiratory care in all Critical Care units and floors
- Operate and manage various respiratory equipment
- Utilize Cerner EMR system for patient data management
- Collaborate with a team of 12-20 RRTs for Adult service lines and 3-4 RRTs for NICU/Peds service lines during day/night shifts
- Maintain a patient ratio of 10-25 total
- Participate in varying weekend shifts (at least 4 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule)
Requirements:
- Minimum 2+ years of experience
- North Carolina Respiratory License
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- NRP certification (preferred)
