About The PositionJob Title: Special Procedures Technologist - RadiologyJob Description:We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Special Procedures Technologist to join our radiology team. In this role, you will perform specialized imaging procedures and assist in various interventional radiology techniques. Your expertise will play a critical role in patient care and the success of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.Key Responsibilities:Operate and maintain advanced imaging equipment, including fluoroscopy, angiography, and other specialized modalities.Prepare and position patients for procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the process.Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to assist in diagnostic and interventional procedures.Administer contrast agents and medications as needed, monitoring patients for adverse reactions.Maintain accurate patient records and documentation related to imaging procedures.Adhere to safety protocols and radiation protection standards to minimize exposure to patients and staff.Participate in quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives within the department.Stay updated on the latest advancements in radiology technology and procedures.Qualifications:Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field.Current certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography and/or relevant specialty.State licensure as required.Previous experience in special procedures or interventional radiology preferred.Strong communication skills and a commitment to patient-centered care.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.9670553EXPTEMP
