About The Position**Job Title:** Tech Specialist**Job Specialty:** Cath Lab Charge Special Procedures**Job Duration:** 13 weeks**Shift:** Days, 48 hrs/wk, 4x12 Hr**Guaranteed Hours:** 48 hrs/wk**Experience:** 2 years required, 5 years preferred**License:** KY Radiation**Certifications:** ARRT, BLS, EKG**Must-Have:**- Knowledge in cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology labs- Basic computer and keyboarding skills- Experience in quality assurance and radiation safety- Ability to ensure efficient patient flow and quality services**Job Description:**- Ensure the delivery of quality services in Cardiac Catheterization and Electrophysiology labs.- Oversee staff in the operation of imaging equipment, providing supervision and direction.- Supervise ongoing quality testing and implement radiation safety measures.- Prepare work schedules and assign duties to maintain patient flow.- Help operate within the department's budget.- Promote communication within and between departments.- Supervise employees regarding performance, conduct, attendance, and policy adherence.- Conduct orientation for new employees and function as a preceptor.- Demonstrate commitment to the organization's mission and values.- Adhere to infection control, safety, and personnel guidelines.- Maintain patient confidentiality and demonstrate respect and dignity.- Perform other related duties as assigned.9399438EXPPLAT
