AlliedTravelCareers is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Sterile Processing Tech in Raleigh, North Carolina, 27607!About The PositionJob Title: Central Sterile Tech IJob Specialty: Sterile ProcessingJob Duration: 13 weeksShift: Mids 5x8 (Monday to Friday) or 3x12 Hour ShiftsGuaranteed Hours: 36 hours per weekExperience: Nine months of experience as a sterile tech if no formal education from a sterile processing schoolLicense: Not requiredCertifications: Not requiredMust-Have: Proficiency in reprocessing and maintenance of endoscopes and other endoscopic equipment per high-level disinfection policies and manufacturer instructionsJob Description:- Assemble baskets of instruments, basin sets, and equipment using appropriate checklists and prepare for sterilization.- Assemble sets of supplies and instruments used in various clinical settings.- Check for cleanliness and functionality, such as sharpness of scissors and movement of hinged instruments.- Decontaminate, disinfect, and thoroughly clean supplies, instruments, and equipment used in a variety of procedures.- Distribute instruments, equipment, and supplies to appropriate locations.- Monitor and maintain adequate levels of supplies, instruments, and equipment.- Monitor equipment for malfunctions and perform minor repairs.- Notify appropriate staff for more significant repairs.- Demonstrate proficiency in handling and maintaining endoscopic equipment as per policies and manufacturer guidelines.- Maintain scope washers and washer adapters, checking detergent levels, and disinfectant effectiveness.- Communicate information regarding scope repairs, loaners, supplies, and quality improvement effectively.- Wear personal protective equipment as per policy and maintain supplies necessary for cleaning and reprocessing.- Accurately record data in appropriate logs.- Interact with equipment following manufacturer guidelines and processes.9514589EXPPLATJob RequirementsRequired for Onboarding
