Tact Staff is seeking a travel Surgical Technologist for a travel job in Belmont, New York. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Surgical Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 11/13/2024 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours Employment Type: Travel SHIFT: OR Tech- Days 7A-5P EXP: Min 2yrs CERT: BLS FLOAT: This will be General OR. May float to L&D bur rarely MISC: Must have experience in ORTHO cases Summary: The OR Tech, under general supervision by the OR Manager/Surgery Center Manager is a member of the OR Team, working with surgeons, registered nurses, anesthesiologists, certified nurse anesthetists and ancillary support personnel whose primary function is scrubbing for surgical cases. Other functions include handling instruments, supplies, medication, media, specimens, and instrument cases. When fully trained the OR Tech assumes responsibility for call. Minimum Requirements: Experience: Previous hospital experience as an OR technologist preferred Must have experience working Ortho cases.
