Surgical Technologist - Operating Room12/16/24 to 03/15/2513 Weeks40 Hours/week10H Days07:00 AM - 05:30 PMDescription:Must have NBSTSA - Cardiac surgery and cardiac transplant surgery. *MUST HAVE VALVE REPLACEMENT EXP - Open vascular/ endovascular surgery, thoracic surgery, thoracic robotics&general surgery.40 hrs/week - 13 weeks 4-10s, 6:45a– 5:15p (primary), 7:30a – 6:00p, 9-7:30p 1 weekend month – Cardiac, cardiac transplant and/or Endo vascular call 7:00p Fri – 645a Mon 30 min response time when on call 2 hr CVI short call shifts / 515-715p or 6p-8p CVI call / one night a week 7:00p or 7:30p – 6:45a/7a (cardiac / cardiac transplant and/ or endovascular) RTO: must be approved Must be available to cover call on holiday/holiday weekends Scrubs: Cardiac surgery; open vascular/endovascular surgery; thoracic surgery, thoracic robotics&general surgeryNATIONAL CERTIFICATION REQUIRED2+ years related work experience required.American Heart Association - Basic Life Support CertificateBasic familiarity with computers. Ability to navigate at a basic level within web-based applications.Preferred Qualifications:Experience in a teaching hospital and specialty area expertise
