Travel Surgical Technologist Rochester, New York, United States - 14626Job Title: Surgical Technologist Shift: Night shift - 10 hours - four days Duration: 13 weeks Start Date: 4/17/2023 Stipend: $1,281 Hourly Pay: $54 OT: 1.5 Weekly pay: $1,963 JOB DESCRIPTION 471 bed hospital - Level 2 trauma center The Certified Surgical technologist is responsible for the preparation of instruments, linen set-up and all equipment necessary to perform any surgical procedure. These responsibilities include the maintenance of aseptic technique in all surgical scrub procedures. Independent judgment is exercised under the direction of a Registered Professional Nurse. Wide variety of cases, bread and butter, plus more specialty cases. QUALIFICATIONS Work Experience
- Minimum of two years in specialty in similar size hospital
- Experience with Epic Electronic Medical Record.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to move or lift patients with assistance.
License/Registration/Certification
- CPR (by the American Heart Association)
- BLS, ACLS - American Heart Association
Education and Training
- Graduation from a surgical technology program or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
