Job Title: Intake Lead Job Specialty: Intake Lead General Job Duration: 13 months Shift: DAYS - 8 HR Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Not specified License: Not specified Certifications: Not specified Must-Have: - Proficient in software applications - Ability to read and comprehend moderate to complex instructions and correspondence - Ability to write detailed correspondence - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations - Ability to listen, empathize, and offer constructive guidance Job Description: - Generate new patient intakes and ensure potential patients complete their initial intake appointments. - Evaluate mental healthcare needs of clients and determine eligibility for services. - Respond to intake calls and complete admission paperwork, with assessments completed by RN, LPC, or LMSW. - Conduct interviews individually or with families to assess situations and determine required services. - Track all inquiries and resolve issues related to the intake process. - Collect data to assist with the referral process and follow up on referrals by contacting referral sources. - Communicate with referral sources, including family members, legal systems, psychiatrists, primary care physicians, and other treatment facilities. - Review newly admitted patient accounts for eligibility and authorization daily. - Maintain schedule for filing court paperwork and hearings, working closely with court personnel. - Participate as an active member of the interdisciplinary team. - Ensure all intake forms are properly completed and filed. - Perform other duties as assigned.
