Job Description:
The Aerial Foreman builds and maintains aerial communication systems. The Aerial Foreman will primarily work with overhead structures and occasionally work with various underground structures. Projects vary from rural to metro areas. The Aerial Foreman oversees, trains, and supervises all Aerial Linemen and Groundmen, ensuring the team operates effectively and safely.PUSH Inc. is a privately owned premier communications and power utility contractor headquartered in Rice Lake, WI. who has been providing telecom infrastructure to connect people globally for 50 years through its dedicated team members who have integrity and continually strive for excellence.Physical and Environmental Factors:
  • Be physically capable of climbing poles and traversing uneven ground conditions.
  • Be capable of working outside and in adverse weather conditions.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions):
  • Planning and executing projects.
  • Ensure conformity with NESC Electrical Codes, OSHA regulations, and customer safety requirements.
  • Assist in the construction of new overhead and underground services and manage service upgrades.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to maintain positive relationships with customers.
  • Ability to effectively lead, train, and mentor a crew.
  • Proficiency in electronic tabs, billing systems, and other digital tools.
  • Supervise a team of Linemen and Groundmen, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Training and mentoring of employees assigned to jobs.
  • Tree trimming or route clearing.
  • Skilled in the use and care of specialized hand tools and equipment, including operating Digger and Bucket Trucks.
  • Ability to tow various trailers with trucks as required.
  • Continuously identify and implement improvements in processes and procedures to elevate company performance.
  • Responsible for redlines, as-builts, and daily production reporting.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support team and project goals.
Education and/or Experience:
  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Work Experience: Five years of demonstrated leadership experience working alongside lineman teams. RUS and fiber experience required.
Requirements:
  • Knowledge of aerial procedures, pole-line materials, the proper and safe use of tools and equipment used in aerial line construction and maintenance.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Willingness to learn.
  • Ability to maintain equipment and hand tools.
  • Ability to read, comprehend and carry out instructions.
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Abide all company and manufacturer safety procedures and industry safety standards, in addition to attending mandatory safety meetings.
  • Valid Driver's License, Class A CDL preferred.
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment screenings.
