Job Title: Traveling Construction AssistantJob DescriptionThe role involves extensive travel, typically for one week at a time, with occasional breaks between jobs. When not traveling, you will focus on understanding upcoming projects, closing out previous ones, and assisting colleagues. This position requires preparation of field files, supporting project management, and coordinating with equipment and labor providers. You will also inspect materials, supervise installations, ensure safety training, resolve material issues, submit daily reports, and lead job closeout processes.
Responsibilities- Coordinate onsite activities for product installation.
- Review field drawings, material takeoffs, and purchase orders.
- Supervise installations and ensure safety and quality standards.
- Travel extensively (75% of the time).
- Prepare field files and support project management.
- Coordinate with equipment and labor providers.
- Inspect materials and supervise installations.
- Ensure safety training and resolve material issues.
- Submit daily reports.
- Lead job closeout processes.
Essential Skills- Experience in construction (preferred but not required).
- Ability to work independently and in a team-based environment.
- Ability to travel extensively (75% of the time).
- Valid passport and ability to access controlled facilities ( background check required).
- No DUIs.
