This position requires a skilled leader with a proven track record in supervising both electrical and construction crews, ensuring the successful completion of projects that meet timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Extensive travel will be required to oversee multiple job sites. Strong operational planning, safety management, and team coordination skills are essential. #ZR Qualifications:
- Must live in the DMV area
- Willing to travel from PA- FL
- Proven experience as a Construction and Electrical Foreman with successful project management experience.
- Extensive knowledge of electrical installations, maintenance, and repair within a construction setting.
- Deep understanding of construction procedures, materials, and project management principles.
- Expertise in safety regulations, building codes, and environmental guidelines.
- Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.
- Ability to problem-solve and adapt to changing project demands.
- Physical capability to oversee job sites, including mobility, lifting, and stamina.
- High school diploma or equivalent; further education or certification in construction management preferred.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Class A CDL: must be willing and able to obtain.
- Ability to work at heights of up to 200 feet.
- Journeyman's License required.
- Proficient/certified in operating heavy machinery such as telehandlers, excavators, rollers, bucket trucks, digger derricks, and skid steers.
Key Responsibilities Operational Planning:
- Collaborate with managers to set daily goals and ensure crew readiness.
- Ensure projects run smoothly, monitor timelines, and enforce safety protocols.
Team Management:
- Train and guide crew members to enhance productivity.
- Conduct weekly safety meetings and provide feedback on performance.
Logistical and Administrative Duties:
- Maintain daily logs, ensuring permits and inspections are in order.
- Collect timesheets and manage equipment readiness.
- Submit incident and accident reports promptly.
Safety Leadership:
- Conduct Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), enforce PPE use, and promote a culture of safety.
- Inspect job sites regularly and address safety issues immediately.
Sports Lighting Projects Responsibilities Installation & Troubleshooting:
- Interpret Musco drawings, coordinate logistics, and ensure compliance with NEC codes.
- Schedule manpower, directional drilling, inspections, and manage equipment operation.
- Troubleshoot systems, manage installation, and handle electrical services from ground to completion.
Retrofitting & Maintenance:
- Assess existing electrical loads for Musco systems, run EMT and Rigid conduit, and troubleshoot issues.
