Expected Pay Range: $20.15/hr. or $275/day when traveling. Plus $55/day per diem and H&W.Summary and ScopeThe Field Technician/Laborer will be contracted at an assigned job site and is responsible for setting up, maintaining, and breaking down temporary facilities. Performs troubleshooting and preventative maintenance to ensure a safe and efficient job site. Day-to-day duties include, but are not limited to, plumbing, carpentry, basic electrical, administrative, laundry facilities upkeep, and ground maintenance tasks as assigned.Essential Functions
- Perform general and preventive maintenance functions for plumbing systems at an intermediate level.
- Perform general maintenance and projects in carpentry at an intermediate level.
- Perform basic maintenance functions for electrical systems.
- Perform basic maintenance on HVAC systems.
- Perform general maintenance functions for temporary facilities, buildings, and tented structures.
- Work under the guidance of licensed or trained supervisors.
- Perform ground maintenance and site work tasks as needed.
- Perform equipment operation onsite as required (training will be provided).
- Perform daily/scheduled maintenance checks and services on government equipment, company trucks, and equipment.
- Operate site heavy equipment including but not limited to forklifts, tractors, work carts, yard maintenance equipment, and skid steers (training will be provided).
- Must assist with the maintenance of water and wastewater systems on the project site.
- Repair company equipment as needed to maintain serviceable condition.
- Coordinate service calls when required.
- Perform general administrative functions.
- Perform general laundry functions.

- Must be knowledgeable and have experience in plumbing.
- Must be knowledgeable and have experience in carpentry.
- Must be knowledgeable of power/hand tools and skilled to operate them.
- Basic electrical skills.

- Great organizational skills.
- General knowledge of safe working practices.
- Read and interpret owner's manuals, equipment schematics and work orders.
- Ability to speak, read, and write English.

Required Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent, required.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- 12 months of experience in a maintenance position is required.
- Relevant trade school training and certifications are desired.
- A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is desired

It is expected for this position to attend regular meetings during typical work hours in Eastern Standard Time as well as meetings as needed for assigned projects in other time zones.Work EnvironmentThis job operates in field environments. We operate 24/7/365, inside and outside, in all weather conditions. This role routinely uses standard office equipment, hand tools, site equipment and vehicles, and is required to use and wear standard PPE, which will be provided by the company. There is an expectation of clear communication in English both written and orallyTravelThis position requires up to 100% travel. Travel is dependent on contract load. The ability to travel to job sites and be away for extended periods of time based on contract needs is required. Short notice travel is required with 24-48 hours' notice.Work Authorization
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or Green Card holder for 3 of the last 5 years.
- Must be able to travel within the Continental United States (CONUS)
- Must pass a drug test, motor vehicle record check, and a background check upon accepting a conditional offer of employment.
- Must possess a valid driver's license. Have/maintain a clean driving record.
