Position Overview C&S is currently seeking a Traveling Project Manager to be responsible for managing multiple projects in various phases at any one time from bidding though closeout based in Massena, NY. The Project Manager will provide project organization, budgeting, and scheduling to lead projects through the entire design, planning and construction process. Position Responsibilities

  • Exceed client expectations by ensuring the quality and high standards of performance and compliance in both design and construction.
  • Directs and coordinates the activities of project team to ensure project progresses on schedule and within budget.
  • Examines construction documentation including drawings, schedules, and scopes to ensure completeness and accuracy.
  • Follows established standards and procedures for project reporting and documentation.
  • Project Manager has financial responsibility of the project; cost forecasting, subcontractor, material and vendor control
  • Project Manager is responsible for the timely execution and management of the owner and subcontractor change order process.
  • Develops and maintains relationships with clients, potential clients, subcontractors and vendors to help develop new opportunities.
  • Plan, schedule and administer project meetings with client, subcontractors, vendors and field personnel.
  • Management of the construction submittal and approval process
Skills/Education/Experience
  • Strong knowledge of the construction industry and construction principles/practices.
  • Strong knowledge of how to interpret construction drawings, contract documents, and construction sequencing
  • Excellent written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills, plus ability to manage a team of varied disciplines
  • Strong work ethic and desire to work in a team environment
  • Advanced knowledge of MS office, Bluebeam, MS Project
  • Proficiency with Procore and Primavera software a plus
  • Experience with Building Information Modeling (BIM) a plus
Estimated Compensation Range: $140,000 - $175,000/year* *Actual compensation may vary based on related work experience, geographical location and market conditions, education/training, certifications, and other credentials, as well as applicable knowledge and skills.
