Job Description:
Looking for a Traveling Super. Must live in Carolinas or GA. Will be working night work. Experience with Walmart & Publix preferred. Job Summary: The Traveling Superintendent is responsible for overseeing all aspects of construction projects at various sites. This includes managing on-site activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, coordinating with subcontractors, and maintaining project schedules and budgets. The ideal candidate will have extensive construction experience, strong leadership skills, and the ability to travel extensively. Key Responsibilities: Project Management: Oversee and manage all on-site construction activities to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. Quality Control: Ensure all work is performed in accordance with industry standards, project specifications, and company quality standards. Safety Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and ensure all team members and subcontractors adhere to safety regulations. Coordination: Work closely with project managers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure smooth project execution and resolve any issues that arise. Scheduling: Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring all milestones are met and adjusting timelines as necessary. Reporting: Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports to management and clients. Problem Solving: Identify and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during construction, ensuring minimal impact on project timelines and budgets. Travel: Travel to various project sites as required, often on short notice, and stay for extended periods to oversee project completion. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field preferred. Proven experience as a superintendent in the construction industry, with a strong track record of successful project completions. Extensive knowledge of construction processes, equipment, and OSHA safety regulations.
