About Our ClientMy client is a general contractor focused on renovation projects in the multifamily and senior housing (affordable housing) sectors based out of the Greater St. Louis area. My client has been around for 30+ years and specializes in planning, design, and construction management. They have access to over 100 markets due to their strong presence nationally. Their projects range between $8M and $60M and they are looking to expand their project management team.
Job Description- Supervises day-to-day work of crew and prioritize work at hand.
- Attend post-aware review meeting to receive project information & details for preplanning before construction
- Direct/control total construction project to meet specifications and within the allotted time schedule in an efficient manner to produce the expected profit
- Work with subcontractors, suppliers, utilities, city inspectors, organize and direct activities concerned with their construction projects.
- Effectively follow plans/guidelines while conducting regular safety meetings.
- Complies with all company policies and procedures and safety requirements, including crew member discipline and documentation.
- Cooperate with the owner and his representatives, keeping them informed of construction progress
- Review and approve all requisitions, field purchase orders, invoices, and other significant reports and documents
- Monitor and control project through managing the construction schedule and directing subcontractors and suppliers to ensure project is completed on schedule and within budget.
- Manage close out process and warranty responses with project manager
- Attend and participate in weekly meetings, including project and subcontractor meetings
- Make decisions under tight deadlines

The Successful Applicant- Multifamily experience is required
- 5+ years experience as a Lead or Senior Superintendent
- 5-20 years of construction experience
- Able to live anywhere
- Proven ability to deliver construction projects on time and on budget
- Communicate effectively with subcontractors and suppliers
- Must be open to travel
