The Resource Center is the largest non-governmental employer in Chautauqua County with more than 1,300 employees on its payroll.The mission of The Resource Center is to support individuals with disabilities and other challenges in achieving maximum independence, contributing to their community, experiencing lifelong growth, and enjoying quality of life.RESIDENCE COORDINATORRESPONSIBLE TO: Residence Coordinator SupervisorFUNCTION:To effectively manage all phases of the day-to-day operation of assigned facilities. Maintain and enhance the provision of quality services to individuals receiving services by monitoring and implementing facility regulations, policies and procedures, and standards of good practice. Coordinate all services to meet individual needs of individuals on assigned caseload.REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:Must demonstrate strong leadership and teambuilding skills, including directing others, developing direct reports, motivating others, and confronting direct reports as needed. Must possess managerial courage and effective supervisory and quality decision-making skills. Strong interpersonal skills including compassion, composure, approachability, integrity, and trust are essential. Must be self-directing and possess organizational agility, as well as strong problem-solving skills. Knowledge of or ability to learn Residential Services for the Developmentally Disabled is required.SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:Participation in on-call on a rotating basis. Ability and willingness to work a schedule based on the needs of the program and individuals served - early morning and evening hours required.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Residence Coordinator: Qualified Intellectual Disability Professional. Bachelor's degree and three (3) years related experience, with a minimum of one (1) year in an administrative/supervisory capacity; OR Master's degree and one (1) year related experience in an administrative/supervisory capacity.Residence Coordinator Trainee: Ability to achieve a Bachelor degree within one (1) year and two (2) years of related experience in an administrative/supervisory capacity.SPECIFIC DUTIES:SUPERVISORY:Responsible for providing administrative supervision of assigned Residential Services staff.Hiring, firing, discipline, performance evaluation, in-service education and training.Developing and maintaining adequate staffing requirements within budgetary constraints.Coordinates staff orientation and training needs.OPERATIONAL:Participates in the development, revision, and implementation of procedures for program manuals.Completes and submits on-site visit forms to the Residence Coordinator Supervisor weekly.QUALITY ASSURANCE:Ensures assigned facilities maintain compliance with all regulations.Participates in agency and residential Quality Assurance/Quality Improvement visits.ADMINISTRATIVE:Participates in the development of Outcomes and Performance Targets.Positively represents the Residential Services Division through participation in agency committees.OTHER:Performs other duties as assigned by the Director of IDD Services.REQUIRED TOOLS:Badge AccessE-mailTraining Management SystemTime and Attendance SystemPurchasing SystemMaintenance SystemTherap (Residence Coordinator Level)Cell phone (Smart phone level)THE RESOURCE CENTERGrade 18/19, ExemptThe Resource Center is an equal employment opportunity employer and will not discriminate on the basis of any protected characteristic.#J-18808-Ljbffr
