Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Treasury Analyst to join our dynamic team in the US. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting our treasury operations, ensuring effective cash management, risk assessment, and financial forecasting.
Key Responsibilities: - Monitor and analyze the company's daily cash position and assist in the execution of the daily cash management duties.
- Processing of trade and overhead payments in multiple currencies.
- Perform intraday and end of day bank account reconciliation.
- Support FX front-office processes including execution of FX trades, maintaining settlement instructions and updating FX mandates with counterparty banks.
- Monitor daily maturity schedule and prepare utilization instructions related to secured and unsecured loan facilities.
- Trade capture and payments related to US commercial paper and bond transactions.
- Monitor trading levels and liaise with commercial desks and brokers to optimize collateral for margin calls.
- Preparation of daily and monthly treasury reports.
- Support commercial desks, back-office teams and overseas offices with treasury related requests.
- Recommend and implement solutions to strengthen operational controls and incorporate best practices.
- Develop and maintain positive dealings with relationship banks.
- Provide back-up for trade finance team and support on special projects as required.
Job Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in treasury, finance, or a related area.
- Strong time management, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis tools (Excel, financial software).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Genuine interest in commodities and broader financial markets.
Compensation: - The expected base salary ranges from $95K -$120K. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications and licenses obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to salary and a generous employee benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
