County Road 45Owatonna, MN 55060, USACompensation: DOE ($100,000 to $125,000)Join our dedicated team at Beauterre Recovery Institute in Owatonna, Minnesota, as a Treatment Director, where you'll oversee clinical operations and ensure a safe, professional environment for clients and employees. In this role, you'll develop and implement annual objectives while managing budgetary responsibilities and ensuring compliance with regulatory authorities. Your leadership will foster staff development, and your expertise in chemical use issues will enhance program design and client care. We seek candidates with direct service experience in MICD, strong communication skills for engaging diverse communities, and who hold an LADC and/or Mental Health License, along with 2+ years in a healthcare-related leadership position.Duties and responsibilitiesThe following duties are normal for this position.These are not to be construed as exclusive or all-inclusive.Other duties may be required and assigned.Develop and implement specific annual objectives for the facility.Develop and monitor annual budget to ensure fiscal stability.Ensure current state, federal and accreditation requirements are met.Provide leadership and staff development.· Write monthly financial summaries/analysis.· Oversee and participate in the auditing process to ensure that Rule 31 regulations are being met.· Program review and design· Review referrals for potential admissions· Assist in all departments as qualified and as needed· Weekly payroll entries/approvals· Critical incident reviews and submissions· Crisis interventionTo act with authority in the best interest(s) of the clients, staff, stakeholders and community.Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders.The Director may admit, transfer, or discharge clients.Complete on-going training on cultural awareness and demonstration of sensitivity to various cultural norms and values.Other duties as assignedQualificationsMust have at least one year of work experience in direct service to individuals with chemical use problems or one year work experience in the management or administration of direct service to individuals with chemical use problems; andHave a baccalaureate degree or three years of work experience in administration or personnel supervision in human services.Must know and understand all rules, regulations, and requirements of the assigned program (governed by MN Statute 245G).One year supervisory experience.A minimum of two years' freedom from chemical abuse problems.Must document 12 hours of training in co-occurring mental health problems and chemical abuse of dependency that includes competencies related to philosophy, screening, assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning, documentation, programming, medication, collaboration, mental health consultation, discharge planning.Preferred qualifications: LADC, LICSW, LMFT, or LPCC with at least 3 years supervisory experience.Preferred Skills, Knowledge and AbilityStrong verbal skills and ability to communicate abstract concepts in a simple formatAbility to communicate with a variety of people from diverse cultures, socioeconomic and educational backgrounds.Strong knowledge of the 12 core functionsFlexibility to meet a variety of changing prioritiesComputer skills to draft emails, memos, and reporting.Physical requirementsHearing Ability to hear staff, incoming calls, and callersVision Ability to see computer screen and written charts to document outcomes and obtain dataSpeaking Ability to speak to staff and external customersSitting Approximately 5-6 hours per dayStandingApproximately 1-2 hours per dayQualificationsSkillsBehaviors:Motivations:EducationExperienceLicenses & CertificationsEqual Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with DisabilitiesThe contractor will not discharge or in any other manner discriminate against employees or applicants because they have inquired about, discussed, or disclosed their own pay or the pay of another employee or applicant.
