Job Description:

A reputable law firm is seeking a Trial & Litigation Attorney with three to five years of experience to join its Trial & Litigation Practice Group in Los Angeles, CA. This role focuses on complex litigation involving constitutional law, civil rights, eminent domain, and other high-impact areas. Duties
  • Engage in all phases of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, motion practice, trial, and appeal in both federal and state courts.
  • Develop and execute litigation strategies, particularly in complex cases involving constitutional law, civil rights, and eminent domain.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and draft persuasive legal documents, including dispositive motions.
  • Build cases for trial by gathering evidence, interviewing witnesses, and managing depositions.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across offices to support the litigation practice and elevate the firm's reputation.
  • Manage electronic discovery and ensure compliance with all legal procedures and deadlines.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of litigation experience, with a focus on law and motion practice and complex case management.
  • Experience in federal and state court litigation, including dispositive motions.
  • Strong research, analytical, and writing skills.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate across multiple offices.
  • Experience with eminent domain or real estate/real property law is a plus.
Education
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Certifications
  • Active license to practice law in California (required).

  • Proficient in handling complex litigation matters and electronic discovery.
