Duties
- Engage in all phases of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, motion practice, trial, and appeal in both federal and state courts.
- Develop and execute litigation strategies, particularly in complex cases involving constitutional law, civil rights, and eminent domain.
- Conduct thorough legal research and draft persuasive legal documents, including dispositive motions.
- Build cases for trial by gathering evidence, interviewing witnesses, and managing depositions.
- Collaborate with colleagues across offices to support the litigation practice and elevate the firm's reputation.
- Manage electronic discovery and ensure compliance with all legal procedures and deadlines.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of litigation experience, with a focus on law and motion practice and complex case management.
- Experience in federal and state court litigation, including dispositive motions.
- Strong research, analytical, and writing skills.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate across multiple offices.
- Experience with eminent domain or real estate/real property law is a plus.
Education
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Certifications
