Job Description:

Growing mid-size law firm is looking for an experience Litigation/Trial Paralegal to join their Downtown Los Angeles team. The Litigation / Trial Paralegal will provide support to attorneys for the full life-cycle of cases including during trials, meditations and arbitration. The ideal Litigation / Trial Paralegal candidate will have 7+ years of complex civil litigation defense experience, proficiency with all aspects of litigation and recent courtroom experience.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Trial preparation including witness binders, exhibits, electronic presentations, etc.
  • Assist in creating and maintaining case chronologies, indices and case files
  • Cite checking and proofreading pleadings and briefs
  • Coordinating document productions
  • Assisting with trial logistics including setting up the war room, securing necessary equipment, and set up of files and exhibits in the courtroom
  • Scheduling and tracking depositions, filing deadlines and other case-related deadline

Required Skills/Experience:

  • Minimum of 5+ years civil litigation experience
  • Must have experience supporting attorneys during trial
  • Proficiency with Casemap, Concordance, Relativity, Trial Director, Case Notebook or similar programs

Targeted salary range of $85k - $95k annually + eligible for annual discretionary bonus. Compensation is commensurate with experience.
