We have assigned equipment and you'll be home every night and treated right!*_*Benefits:*_* Health Benefits* Assigned Trucks* Paid Holidays* Paid Vacation* Home every night* No-touch freight* Dry van trailers_*Truck Driver Responsibilities:*_*\*** Class A Truck Driver* Transport finished pallets from our Staunton VA mill to our customers* Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues* Average day is about 9 hours M-F* Enter miles driven and delivery times using a driver manifest* Comply with truck driving rules and regulations, as well as with company policies and procedures* Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions* Collect and verify delivery instructions* Report defects, accidents or violations* Proven work experience as a truck driver* Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations* No recent moving or driving violations* Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions etc)* Willing to submit to background/drug checks and provide employment recommendations* Clean driving record* Valid truck driving license_*Qualifications:*_* Class A Driver's License* One Year Driving ExperienceJob Type: Full-timePay: $21.75 - $24.75 per hourExpected hours: 45 per weekExperience:* Driving: 1 year (Preferred)License/Certification:* CDL A (Required)Ability to Commute:* Staunton, VA 24401 (Required)Work Location: In person
