Job Description
**OTR Class A Truck Driver - Detroit, MI**
**Job Summar**y This is a full time over the road driving position. Weekends and holidays will be required to make timely deliveries. This location primarily hauls tank trailers.
Essential Job Functions - The OTR driver must be able to plan trips (breaks, fuel stops, customer appointments, weather, traffic and construction, city and rural driving conditions) and manage unforeseen circumstances. The driver will sit for several hours at a time while operating their equipment. The driver will be responsible for safely and efficiently loading, unloading and transporting product according to company and customer instructions. OTR drivers must be able to obtain a passport and a hazardous materials endorsement. Weekly mileages can and do fluctuate.
The individual is required to follow all government, company & customer policies and regulations. This includes but not limited to FMCSA, OSHA, EPA, DOL & Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

**Preferred Candidate Requirements **
Class A CDL with Tanker endorsement
24 years of age
2 years of verifiable OTR or Local experience within the previous seven years
No more than 1 chargeable accident within the last 3 years
No more than 3 jobs in the last 3 years
No more than 1 moving violation in the last three years
Must Obtain a Passport and Hazardous Material Endorsement
