Exercise some judgment to comply with instructions and established procedures in driving trucks for various departments. Education and Experience A high school education or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required. One year of experience in CDL driving. Responsibilities Drive trucks for various departments including the Mail Room, Food Service, Physical Plant, Housing and Food Services Maintenance Department. Deliver and pick up mail, materials, equipment, food, supplies, tools, etc. Maintain records of purchase, pick-ups, deliveries, etc. Load and unload trucks. Keep truck clean, report malfunctions and have it serviced when needed. Maintain work areas and vehicle in safe, sanitary and efficient operating conditions. Remove trash to proper areas.
