The Enterprise brand of Enterprise Mobility has an exciting opportunity for a Diesel Bus/Truck Technician. The Diesel Bus/Truck Technician is a skilled position that requires the ability to perform bus and medium duty diesel truck mechanical and warranty repairs, as well as diagnose and troubleshoot drivability problems, according to company policy and procedures. This is a position of routine difficulty requiring the exercise of reasonable judgment and initiative. This position requires the technician to have a minimum of four company approved ASE Certifications as well as manufacturer required training in order to perform warranty repairs. Quality Standards.
We offer hourly pay - we are not a flat rate shop, get paid for the time you work. We offer overtime!
The pay for this position starts at $36 / hour. In addition, you can earn an additional $2 / hour for ASE certifications after the required minimum of 4 (for the additional 6 truck ASEs). Earn an additional $5 / hour more working both Saturday and Sunday, as well as an additional $5 / hour for overnight work. Total pay range is $36 - $58 / hour.

Truck Technician Benefits:
- Yearly tool stipend of $500
- Reimbursement of ASE testing
- ASEs beyond the required minimum of 4 will increase hourly rate by an additional $2 / hour (for the additional 6 truck ASEs)

- Any 3 weekdays + Saturday and Sunday 7:00am-3:00pm
- Weekend pay differential $5 / hour

Responsibilities:
We are hiring now for immediate openings. Responsibilities include:
- Ensure that all warranty and mechanical repairs are completed according to the manufacturers specifications and guidelines.
- Provide safe and reliable vehicles upon completion of repairs.
- Perform routine and annual DOT required repairs and inspections.
- Read and interpret diagnostic test results, often by using dials, gauges, and other computer equipment.
- Raise trucks, buses, and heavy parts or equipment by using hydraulic jacks or hoists.
- Inspect brake systems, steering mechanisms, transmissions, engines, and other parts of vehicles.
- Do routine maintenance, such as changing oil, checking batteries, and lubricating equipment and parts.
- Maintain vehicle repair history by documenting a Repair Order to accurately reflect steps taken and part(s) used during the repair.
- Comply with part and inventory tracking procedures.
- Utilize multiple manufacturers websites, software and diagnostic tools.
- May process new fleet, LOFR, tires, fuel reclamation or buy-backs.
- Participate in company and manufacturer approved training or other industry related training.
- Maintain the work area in a safe, clean condition and comply with all uniform and equipment standards.
- Maintain a regular and reliable level of attendance and punctuality
- Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
- Follow proper procedures to comply with health, safety, and environmental standards.

Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Minimum of two years of mechanical experience working on buses or medium duty trucks.
- A minimum of four (4) ASE certifications required in approved area of expertise. (T1-T8, X1 and L2)
- Diesel related ASE Certifications or equivalent diesel training preferred
- Degree in Automotive Technology, Completion of Automotive Technical College or Technical/vocational training preferred.
- Must have a current and valid drivers license
- CDL A or B as well as the passenger and airbrake endorsements preferred
- Subject to a pre-employment drug test and if hired, will be subject to random drug and alcohol testing.
- Ability to operate manufacturer diagnostic equipment.
- Must be able understand, read, write, and speak English.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.
