Responsible for account investment management , investment research, client service, and new business development. This position will assistant the Trust Investment Officers with investment research, strategy, and guidance, as well as meeting with clients in a group setting both in person and over the phone.ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain assigned client portfolios by processing transactions using InvestorsView and Trust Desk portfolio management systems by buying and selling securities while adhering to overall company investment strategy/guidance/recommendations
- Assist in the investment research process by gathering pertinent financial data
- Assist investment officers with preparing sector/equity review analysis
- Help with the preparation and maintenance of custom models, fact sheets, and other investment materials
- Maintain regular communications/meetings with assigned clients by reviewing investment portfolios, discussing investment strategy , and reviewing account performance. Most meetings include a trust administrative officer that is also assigned to the account .
- Participate in new business development through internal and external networking, as well as meetings with prospective clients. This will involve support from other personnel until a sufficient level of experience is attained.
- Provide necessary documentation and monitoring of compliance issues
- Participate and provide input in internal meetings, committees, and decisions
- Complete all mandatory and elective training, including BSA (Bank Secrecy Act) and Anti-Money Laundering procedures. Maintain compliance with all appropriate rules and regulations.
- Regular, predictable attendance is an essential requirement of this position
- Complete other duties as assigned
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree in Business/Accounting/Finance.
- Internship or some other related industry experience preferred.
