- Maintains and builds strong client relationships to drive a deep understanding of their business and related goals
- Works directly with clients and lead advisors to find creative solutions to complex accounting, tax, and business challenges
- Aligns expertise in Tax, Trusts, Estate & Non-profit Entities planning to best support client and firm needs
- Reviews (and prepare, as needed) tax, trusts, estates, and 990 returns
- Is a consultant for and help research complex trust, estate, and nonprofit returns and technical issues
- Supports team member development in areas of expertise
- Leads and plans client engagements to provide dynamic service
- Effectively delegates and oversees work efforts by setting goals, providing resources, removing obstacles and scheduling to meet deadlines efficiently
- Mentors and/or coaches team members on growth, development, and performance
As a leader in our firm, top candidates will:
- 5-8+ years of public accounting experience with a focus on trust, estates, gift tax, individual and business tax
- Be a CPA with related Bachelor's or Masters degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Taxation or related field
- Experience overseeing accounting, tax and related work in a public accounting environment
- Demonstrate ability to lead, mentor and develop others in growth, development, and wellness
- Be driven to meet or exceed personal charge hours for self and help direct others in efficiency and productivity
- Be creative in critical thinking and problem solving while being able to develop and follow processes
- Have technical ability in MS Office, tax and accounting software, and ability to learn new software
