Whiteman Osterman & Hanna LLP s Estate Planning and Administration Practice Group is seeking a well-organized, numbers-oriented, team player to join its team at our Corporate Woods location. The ideal candidate should have experience as a Trusts and Estates Paralegal, Trust Officer, or Tax Preparer, or in another relevant professional field.

The Role:

• Surrogate s Court filings related to the probate of wills and appointment of fiduciaries
• in transferring assets, including working with financial professionals and clients to complete transfer paperwork
• asset inventories and judicial and non-judicial estate and trust accountings
• estate tax returns and related projections
• estate and trust administration progress and calendar internal and external deadlines
• administrative tasks with supporting staff

Skills for Success:

• strong organizational skills
• in Microsoft Word & Excel
• with accounting and tax software

Required:

• Degree and/or paralegal certificate or equivalent combination of education and experience
• & Estates experience is strongly preferred--we are willing to train the right candidate.

Compensation Range: $28.85-43.27/hour
