If you thrive in a fast-paced collaborative work environment, Apply Now and start your journey with BankUnited today!Job DescriptionSUMMARY: The Treasury Solutions Product Management Team Lead for Account Services is responsible for developing and delivering the vision, strategy, roadmap, and commercialization of Account Services. Our suite of Account Services includes Information Reporting, Account Reconciliation, Positive Pay, Deposit Insurance, and Escrow Services. The Team Lead will be accountable for facilitating and directing both internal and external team collaboration to drive programs from concept to delivery. This leader will also be responsible for evaluating product performance, monitoring the competitive landscape, and managing ongoing product enhancements. This position reports to the Head of Product Management.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties and special projects may be assigned.
  • Product Strategy
    • Define product strategies, anchored by compelling data, that deliver superior client value and contribute to the firm's objectives. Analyze emerging trends, market research, competitive analysis, customer feedback, and product/channel metrics to shape strategic direction.
    • Define product roadmaps and prioritize programs to support the realization of the product strategy.
    • Collaborate with existing vendors on strategic opportunities and drive roadmap alignment in support of product strategy.
    • Create presentations that inform and communicate product vision. Provide monthly promotions to highlight key accomplishments.
    • Assist with analysis of pricing and profitability and craft recommendations for opportunities to increase revenue and decrease expenses.
    • Be accountable for the realization of your strategy.
  • Product Development
    • Define program scope, author business cases, and define user experience for new products and enhancements.
    • Approve business requirements, KPIs and acceptance criteria for prioritized programs.
    • Ensure collaboration with cross-functional teams to capture requirements and account for any impacts to the organization.
    • Influence and approve the user experience defined by the program teams.
    • Collaborate with staff to define the comprehensive commercialization plan, including sales, implementation, service, billing, and reporting.
    • Ensure effective preparation and presentation by staff of statuses of programs to firmwide stakeholders. Provide transparency to business and technology leadership on project status and risks.
    • Ensure key risk controls and monitoring are accounted for in a solution.
    • Ensure user acceptance testing by product and support teams.
    • Ensure defects are managed effectively by vendor(s) and staff.
    • Provide effective communication on product improvements and new feature releases.
    • Be accountable for delivery of the roadmap.
  • Day to Day
    • Collaborate with service representatives, lines of business, and sales teams to provide subject matter expertise as needed to resolve issues.
    • Handle escalated problems, as needed from internal customers, business partners or clients regarding services and procedures.
    • Actively manage relationships with existing vendors to define and drive exceptional product performance in production.
    • Ensure effective product risk management is practiced by the team and that key risk controls and monitoring are operating effectively.
    • Adhere to Bank policies and procedures and complete required training.
    • Perform special projects, as assigned by manager.
  • Talent Management
    • Actively invest in building and developing team members.
    • Assist manager to actively define and drive continuous improvement into our operating model.
  • Adheres to and complies with applicable, federal and state laws, regulations and guidance, including those related to anti-money laundering (i.e. Bank Secrecy Act, US PATRIOT Act, etc.).
  • Adheres to Bank policies and procedures and completes required training.
  • Identifies and reports suspicious activity.
EDUCATIONBachelor's Degree required Master's Degree in Business Administration or Technology preferred.EXPERIENCE
  • Must have a minimum of 7 years of experience in management of Treasury products provided via online and mobile channels.
  • Client portal migration experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in all aspects of product management, from Strategy to Development to P L management to BAU oversight.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
  • Familiarity with Agile practices and design thinking a plus.
  • Fluency in JIRA and familiarity with Bottomline Premier and/or Enterprise, Fiserv ARP/SMS products a plus.
  • Familiarity with, and comfort in, a sales environment, supporting our sales team with product-related and strategic discussions with prospects.
