Job Type Full-timeDescriptionSummary of PositionThis position performs inspection, maintenance and will prepare well control tubular equipment before delivery to customer. Duties may also include safety and quality control inspections, operating automated machinery; various power/hand tools in compliance with company policy and established safety procedures.Essential Functions
Clean equipment using power washer to ensure visual inspection for assessment of damages can be completed.Paint or otherwise protect rental equipment from the elements prior to shipping or placing in inventory.Assess any damage to returned rental equipmentOperates a tubular cleaning machineStencil or otherwise identify new equipment that enters the inventoryPerform visual inspections and/or functional tests of new equipment and tubular prior to shipping for rental jobs.Maintain shop operations and conditions including general appearance and organizationLoad and unload equipment by operating forkliftPerform general maintenance duties of equipmentRead and interpret specifications and proceduresThe above statements are not intended to be an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, duties and skills required of personnel so classified; nothing restricts the company's right to change, assign, or reassign duties and responsibilities at any time or for any reason. RequirementsSkills/Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent
- Prior experience in the oil and gas or related field preferred.
- Previous experience in warehouse or production is preferred
- Previous experience operating mechanical equipment is preferred
- Must be able to pass Work Steps physical, including ability to lift 125 lbs.
- Ability to identify and utilize basic hand tools is preferred.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in units of measure using whole numbers, fractions, decimals, etc.
- Must have a safe driving record and be willing to submit to and able to pass a pre-employment drug test, MVR check and criminal background check.
