Budget Rent a Car of Atlanta is looking to hire car detailers to fill vacancies with our Tucker location. This is an entry level position greeting customers and preparing vehicles for rental. Qualified candidates must be flexible to working nights and weekends. We offer competitive pay, paid vacations, paid holidays, paid personal days, incentive bonuses, cash bonuses for perfect attendance, and a 401K.ResponsibilitiesInspect vehicles for damage upon rental and returnDocument mileage, damage and gas level upon vehicle returnRefuel vehicles and maintain gas logs when applicable (includes daily tank measurements)Clean interior, exterior, and tires of all vehicles (including but not limited to cars & box trucks)Check and add fluids to vehicles (including but not limited to cars & box trucks)Ensure all safety features and mechanical devices are in working condition (i.e. lights, horn, windows, air-condition/heat, etc.)Stage (fill out inspection slip w/ location) or deliver vehicle to customerSupport a team environment by assisting other agents, other locations and/or other areas when neededMaintain current knowledge and adhere to the guidelines on all company policies and procedures, new training information, pricing and promotion etc.Able to safely drive both passenger vehicles and large box trucks.RequirementsQualificationsBasic mechanical and maintenance knowledge of vehicles and trucksPrevious detail or car wash experienceComputer literateHigh School Diploma and/or equivalent21 years of age or olderPossess a valid drivers license with a good driving recordAble to work at (and get to and from) various locations in and around AtlantaAble to lift at least 30 lbs. and work outsideProfessional communication skillsNotesThis description is not an all-inclusive description.
