Sonoran Roots is looking for a highly motivated and reliable individual to join our team as a Full-Time Retail Inventory Associate.

ABOUT THE POSITION:
The Retail Inventory Associate is responsible for daily oversight of the Inventory Department and the movement of product on site at either our production or retail facilities. This includes comprehension of our product software and tracking of the various stages of product movement. The Inventory Associate should uphold a level of professionalism, a willingness to learn new processes, and be thorough in communicating the supply needs of the business.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - RETAIL INVENTORY ASSOCIATE:
- Assist with all inventory audits, count reconciliations
- Communicate variances to Leadership who will make the necessary systematic adjustments
- Uphold all Inventory policies and procedures with a heavy emphasis on accuracy and compliance
- Update internal databases with relevant inventory levels
- Collaborate with the Inventory team to refine current processes in place to increase efficiency
- Maintain optimal organization and cleanliness of all inventory processing and storage areas
- Perform weekly audits and monthly reconciliations for each facility
- Accurate record keeping, execution of operational tasks, and inventory control
- Consistently remains compliant with all legal and/or company regulations for the industry
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Minimum Qualifications (Required):
- 1+ years of inventory experience, preferably in a cannabis dispensary or related industry.
- Highly motivated, self-directed, individual able to work independently or productively in teams
- Adapts and thrives in a demanding, fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and ability to troubleshoot problems
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods
- An analytical mind with strong math skills
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Inspires professionalism in the work environment and upholds our team's quality standards
- Must be and remain compliant with all legal and company regulations for working in the industry
- Solid experience with inventory
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds as needed.
- Must be 21+ years old.
- Able to sit or stand for extended periods of time.
- Reliable attendance and communication - show up to work when you say you will and do what you say you will do.
- Criminal background checks will be performed; most marijuana-related crimes will not negatively impact an application.
- Reliable transportation.
Additional Qualifications (Preferred):
- Experience in the cannabis industry (formal or informal).
- Knowledge of MS Excel
- Industry knowledge preferred, but not required
- High school diploma or GED.
- Cannabis-related education.
