Identify and transport polystyrene material to and from storage and production areas. Additionally, required to perform coordinator duties as Team leader, Loss prevention, Quality, or Administration when needed.Essential duties and responsibilities:The essential functions of this position include, but are not limited to:* Maintains a safe, clean work area and follows all established safety rules and Standard Operating Procedures.* Starts and stops machine observing operation/process to detect malfunctions of machine.* Positions and remove roll stock stand with core and polystyrene material.* Load and label core rack with proper identification for storage.* Makes minor adjustments or repairs such as turning control panels to regulate specified conditions or requirements.* Conducts quality checks for consistency of polystyrene sheets to detect machinery malfunctions. Inspect raw materials and finish product at each step of process.* Coordinates, assigns, and records daily production activities.* Coordinates and relieves team members during breaks, and lunch, etc.* Coordinates and assists disposal of unused/recycle product in production area.* Report major discrepancies to the unit manager or team leader.* Contribute to team effort by accomplishing all other tasks or duties as assigned.QualificationsQualifications:* One year related experience, or equivalent work experience* Good written and oral communication skills* Lift truck experiencePhysical Requirements/ Environmental/ Working Conditions:* Must be able to occasionally stoop, kneel, or crouch.* Constantly required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.* Frequently required to push or pull items using force up to 95 pounds.* Able to work in differing temperatures* Must be able to work 12-hour rotating shifts and overtime as required.Pactiv Evergreen is one of the largest manufacturers of fresh food & beverage packaging in North America, with market-leading positions across a broad range of products.
