What you will enjoy doing*
* In this role, you will support the construction, commissioning, and starting up activities for rotating equipment (centrifugal compressors and cryogenic expansion turbines) produced by the Linde Turbomachinery Organization
* Additionally, you will supervise field contractor during installation and start-up of equipment to ensure work is completed per Linde design, technical, and quality requirements
* You will assemble commissioning checklists, guidelines, and addendums in preparation for field assignments
* Developing operating logic procedures to support the control system programming activities is part of your role
* You will also be Setting up pre-commissioning and commissioning activities into a job sequence to monitor and follow
* Further, you will be troubleshooting shop and/or field problems
* You will maintain commissioning documentation and packaging for project turnover
* Working and acting with safety in mind is required for this role, as well as using safety checklists as part of the commissioning process and participates with on-site safety meetings and reviews
What makes you great
* You have a 2-year or 4-year degree in (engineering, engineering technology or a technical field) with 5+ years field experience with mechanical equipment OR no degree and 10+ years field experience, or a Millwright trained journeyman mechanical or military trained mechanic
* Position requires demonstrated experience and mechanical aptitude/skills with construction drawings, basic hand tools, knowledge of each machine's working parts, and working with and supervising contractors
* Excellent reading comprehension to understand highly technical manuals
* Ability to troubleshoot potential causes of machinery breakdowns are required
* Strong leadership, written and verbal communication, organization and planning, and a proven ability to work effectively in a team environment
* Domestic and International travel up to 75% of the time to support project tasks and construction is required for this role
* You have excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Project

Salary Pay Range: 75,525 USD - 130,910 USD
