- Tutor students in groups, individually or in the classroom; or other setting on a subject specific area utilizing college skills strategies.
- Assist students with homework assignments, test preparation, time management, and study skills.
- Assist in reviewing academic challenges, clarifying course material, and working on solutions to aid in the mastery of course content.
- Demonstrate professionalism, confidentiality, communication skills and team work in accordance with policies and procedures.
Candidate must be at least 18 years of age in order to be eligible.Rate of Pay: $7.25 per hour without a degree; $10-$12 per hour with degree Minimum and Additional Requirements Candidates must be qualified in the individual subject area by having earned a B or higher in the subject/course in which they will tutor. Must be able to demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, computer skills, specifically with Microsoft Office suite, and the ability to work with individuals and small groups. Flexible schedule and the ability to work with various academic levels and needs are beneficial. Preferred Qualifications An Associate's degree or higher in the specific subject area, is preferred.
