The Learning Resource Center of Polk County, an academic assistance, nonprofit United Way agency is hiring motivated, high-quality tutors who are passionate and committed to helping all students. LRC students range from five-years-old through adult, needing help and support in myriad subjects--intensive reading and math; all school and college subject fields; test preparation; study skills and time management; certification support.Tutoring and flexible teaching times can be in-school, after-school, virtual, various public locations, evenings, and weekends. Some positions have discretionary days and times, based on convenience of student and teacher. Benefits of Tutoring with LRC:
