BBC will provide CO-OPs a meaningful learning, social, and networking experience, exposure to real life business challenges, platform for creative thinking, and opportunity to work alongside and learn from BBC coworkers cross functionally.
By the end of CO-OP, students will have learned and gained core project management skills, marketing, and core business acumen, built relationships with our teams, have exposure to customer and consumer feedback, develop product launch support and marketing campaigns, and develop other marketing functional skills (depending on department placement).
What You'll Brew:
* Shadow core team members to understand their role and how they interface with their cross functional teams to perform key duties assigned by line manager.
* Understand and develop skills pertaining to the marketing function they report to - media, brand, trade, experiential, etc.
* Execute challenging cross-functional assignments by collaborating with teams outside of their core team
* Strategize and deliver creative and innovative retail-ready marketing & brand strategies to sales team
* Provide program analysis support on current and post projects
* Own their own project that will impact immediate team results and overall organizational success, present their findings at the conclusion of the CO-OP
Individual project: Brand-Specific Tasks (Twisted Tea)
* Twisted Tea Brand Program Project
* Day-to-day responsibilities: Assist with day-to-day social content for brands, handle creative asset management, contribute to brand creative and programming discussions, research and develop partnership opportunities to help grow the brand, work with brand manager to develop program materials, assist in content production process
Required Experience:
* Working towards completion of Bachelor's Degree
* Prior experience in marketing or communications co-op preferred
* Entrepreneurial-minded, eager to learn and take on new and varied responsibilities
* Ability to effectively communicate across all levels of the organization - from individual contributors to senior stakeholders to partner agencies and organizations
* Strong project management skills and the ability to keep multiple streams of work (across multiple brands) progressing with high quality, on time, and on budget
* Strong mix of both creative and strategic thinker
* Curious and constantly looking to learn
* Must not require sponsorship to work in the United States, now or in the future
