Under general direction of the Maintenance Manager, the Maintenance Shift Supervisor for the 3rd Shift Electrician Crew will supervise the electrician skilled trade hourly team members engaged in the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of various pipe and fitting machines along with Disa and Cupola.

Job Description
Responsibilities:
* Primarily supervise hourly electricians assigned to 3rd shift maintenance department and provide leadership to other hourly team members within the foundry plant.
* Oversee and perform electrical trade functions such as installation, maintenance, and repair of equipment for the generation, distribution, and utilization of electrical energy.
* Troubleshoot and resolve equipment problems, ensuring timely repairs to minimize downtime.
* Coordinate with Production Departments to plan and prioritize repairs, ensuring a smooth and economical production flow.
* Maintain and manage parts inventory for electrical and mechanical repairs, minimizing waste and ensuring efficient usage.
* Perform electrical maintenance and repair duties, including working on generators, transformers, switchboards, controllers, circuit breakers, motors, heating units, conduit systems, and electronic controls.
* Use and interpret complex blueprints and drawings; provide guidance to team members based on technical documentation.
* Assist in planning, scheduling, and assigning jobs, as well as managing labor costs and timekeeping through systems like UltiPro.
* Order parts and materials for the electrical department and ensure proper handling and use of tools and equipment.
* Train and support team members to ensure adherence to safety and environmental policies, maintaining a clean and safe work area.
* Recommend and implement changes to production methods and processes to maximize efficiency and improve quality.
* Demonstrate a dedication to safety by wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) when entering and working in the plant.
* Keep work area clean, safe, and orderly.
* Complete other duties as assigned by Maintenance Manager.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
* Must be able to work 3rd shift, starting Sunday, and some weekends.
* High school diploma or GED required, additional training beyond high school preferred.
* Four (4) years of leadership experience in manufacturing and/or foundries preferred.
* Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair methods.
* Proficiency with computer software programs, including Outlook, Excel, and UltiPro.
* Ability to identify technical malfunctions in electrical units and use electrical repair tools and equipment.
* Demonstrate initiative, teamwork, and strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to manage time effectively and coordinate work with co-workers.
* Wear required personal protective equipment and follow all safety rules and procedures.
* Maintain excellent attendance and punctuality.
